The reason for this is so while riding the kids don’t accidentally bump the shifter and push the vehicle out of or into gear. In doing this the factory shift knob doesn’t fit through the pattern, so we manufactured a shift knob and post that allows for the shift knob to be mounted after installation of the shift gate assembly.
The shift gates are available in both white and raw color configurations
The shift knobs are black with post anodized machining.
